I had the wierdest dream last night. Danielle was going to marry this black guy (or maybe he was poly) and I knew the guy somehow and I was trying to convince her not to marry him because I knew that he would cheat on her. But she wasn't listening to me since we aren't friends and she thought I was just jealous. It was wierd cuz I was trying so hard to get her to listen. It was frustrating. So Danielle if you are engaged to a black man don't marry him. At least not this one. lol

So nothing too interesting is going on. I'm looking for a job in Salt Lake so I can move in with Justin. That is really it. Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

Well ladies and gentlemen... my brother is back in town. Yes the infamous Peter Chamberland arrived this morning in SLC at the Greyhound bus station at 9 am. And I was the lucky one that got to go pick him up. This should be an interesting month or so. It appears that he is thinking about staying in Utah. Which just means that he will be home for a long time. Which also means that I am moving out that much sooner. I pretty much have set the end of January, beginning of February as my move out date. Now I am just job hunting in Salt Lake so I can move up there. I'm so excited and apparently Cole is too. Which makes me feel good :) lol
Nothing much has been going on. I had my work Christmas party at the Grand America on Friday night. That was fun. I took my friend Nick and we ended up sitting at the table with all the crazy people I work with. They had a couple comedians come who were hilarious. And then they had this raffle. They gave away awesome stuff and I was just one number away from winning a free night at the Grand America. If only the last number had been a 9 instead of an 8. Oh well. At least I was close.
So that's basically all thats going on right now. Just working at MyFamily.com and on Rick's show (which will be completely amazing by the way). Oh and I guess I'm trying to find a new job. But I don't count that as really anything. haha I have like six weddings to go to in the next few weeks which should be interesting. lol Gotta love the weddings!!

Wow it is so wierd. December is the month for engagements and weddings I guess. It seems like lately everyone is getting married. It is depressing in a way because I am not even dating anyone, but I don't want to get married right now either so it is a wierd feeling. All of these kids I went to high school with are already engaged. My friend Amy Jo just got engaged last night, Lindsay Andersen apparently has been engaged for awhile, my friend Jules is practically engaged. Kandyce is getting married, Aaron and Jay are both getting married this month too. Wierd.
I don't quite understand why anyone would want to get married so soon out of high school. I want to experience my life single before I get married!! I mean really there is no rush. I don't even mind that I'm not dating either. I'm happy with my friends and the people I'm around. There isn't drama so I figure why mess that up with a relationship. But I'm sure my feelings will change when I meet some guy. lol

Well here is my update for the weeked. Friday I went up to Salt Lake with Summer and saw Shopgirl. That was an interesting night. The movie was a slight disappointment but not too bad. We headed to Salt Lake around 6:30 or 7 and of course we hit traffic. We went over to the Broadway theater and bought our tickets because for some reason we were afraid of it selling out (there were like 6 people in the theater). Since we missed the first showing we bought tickets for the 10 pm show. So we headed out to find something to eat. Well, lucky us there was a Jazz game that night (hence the traffic). So we couldn't find parking anywhere by any good resturaunts because of all those dang Jazz fans. So, we headed back to the Broadway and parked in the garage next door (which happened to have a two hour limit...oops). We started walking to see what was close and just figured that we would eat whatever we saw first. Well for some reason the route we were on had absolutely no restaraunts. So we ended up at the mall food court, but another strike for us, we showed up five minutes before closing time. So we kept walking in the freezing cold (neither of us were prepared for that so we were getting frostbite). Well we ended up walking clear to the Gateway (that is a long way from the Broadway for those of you who don't know). And by the time we got there we didn't have time to eat or we would have missed the first half of the movie. So we walked right on back. We took a different route back and of course we passed every restaraunt known to man. Both of us were starving and basically drooling the whole time back because of all the fabulous food smells surrounding us. Well we got back to the Broadway just as our movie was starting. We watched the movie (which was a slight disappointment) and then after we booked it to the car to go get food. Lucky for us we didn't have to pay for our parking!! So we drove back to the Gateway and ate at Applebees. That was Friday.

Saturday I had to get up early for rehearsal. I headed over to the Scera (I got there at 7:30 ugh!!) and I was there until a little after noon. Well I decided I was going to stop at Beto's on my way home, pick up a breakfast burrito and then go home and sleep. Didn't exactly work out that way. Todd called me while I was on my way to Beto's and he decided he wanted to come as well. So I picked him up, we got our food, and then we went back to his place and ate. After we were done eating we decided to watch a movie (Boondock Saints or something like that, not a bad movie although the language could have been a little better). So after the movie, I headed out (yelling bye to Kevin upstairs on my way lol). I got home, showered and got ready for the night and left home. I picked up Chad and then we were off to Salt Lake for Justin's CD release party. We met up with Todd before the show and ate a Rumbi Grill and then went over to Sugarbeats. I won a free CD because I knew what character Justin played in Aida... tough question ;). The show was awesome!! Justin is really amazing. After the show we just kinda hung out for awhile and talked, helped clean up all Cole's equipment, that type of stuff. Then I headed back down to Utah County to drop off Chad and pick up some clothes at my place. Then it was back to Salt Lake for me.

So I was supposed to crash at Cole's place that night but when I got up there he was still at the club (Justin had a second gig later that night at a club) and it didnt' look like he was going to be done for awhile. So I went and hung out with Justin and Roman and ended up staying at Justin's place instead.

Sunday morning I woke up and Roman made me breakfast and the three of us watched Sex and the City and just kinda hung out. Well I had to get out of there pretty quick because I had some work to do!! I worked my way over to Cole's and got ready for the day. Then the two of us went out shopping at Costco for some stuff for Justin's suprise party. That was a blast!! Me and Cole had such a good time!! After the shopping we headed over to Justin's dad's house and started to set up. We were blowing up balloons like mad with a helium tank we bought (sucking some helium occasionally) and trying to get everything ready. Well Justin showed up on time and we started the party. He was totally suprised which was awesome! So we hung out there for awhile and then the four of us headed over to the Gateway to see The Chronicles of Narnia. After the movie we went and walked around Temple Square and Roman told me the real story about Mary (it was quite amusing). Then we went to coffee break and got some hot chocolate and just sat and talked. It was a lot of fun. I finally rolled in at home at about 11 that night. It was a good weekend!!

Ah Christmas!

So Christmas is here and for some reason it has been hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit. Maybe it is because I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet, or maybe it was the lack of snow (which was fixed yesterday). Who knows. Hopefully I can get into it soon though cause Christmas is no fun if your not feeling festive.

Last night I tried to get into the mood by going up to SLC to look at the light on Temple Square. How could you not be ready for Christmas after going up there? So me and Hilary braved the snow and drove up there. We ate dinner at the Olive Garden and lucky for us, some high school choir was there. So we were serenaded through our dinner with Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You." I was not aware that this was now a staple carol. haha After paying for our dinner (which was a lot more expensive then I was thinking it was gonna be), we left and headed to Temple Square. Well all I can say is that was a mistake. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time and I love Hilary. But we were surrounded and I mean SURROUNDED by all these couples. Ugh what a reminder. So when we were looking at the nativity, we had a couple making out on one side and a young family on the other. Ok so we were not only surrounded by couples, but by families as well. Not much better.

So after we looked at the lights and wandered around in the cold, trying not to slip on ice, we headed over to Cole's house (he called me earlier to see if I wanted to come up and hang out). So we detoured over to the Avenues and stopped in. That was a lot of fun!! Cole's brother was there (who turns out to be this kid I know but I never realized he was related to Cole) and soon after we got there Chad got home and Justin came over. So we hung out over there for a few hours and had pizza and sat around and talked. It was really nice!! I'm sure Dick hates us (the guy who lives about Cole... haha acutally Dick Nourse the Channel 5 guy), but oh well.

So that was my attempt to kind of break in the holidays. It worked a little bit and all the snow we got helped out too. I'm still not quite there but hey I have 21 days to work on it!!
