"Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them." -Albert Einstein

Isn't it interesting how fast things change in life? One second you are holding on to something or someone for dear life. The next second they are gone. One second you are so afraid of losing something, but then when it is gone you don't really care. It isn't missed. And then you wonder why it isn't missed? Does that mean it was just never important in the first place? Or is it something that you just grew out of? Something that was monumental to one part of your life and then isn't needed anymore. And then you wonder if it was wasted energy, all the time you put into it. If it was wasted because you didn't try hard enough or if you tried so hard but nothing was given back to you.
It seems so wierd that something you loved so much is just gone. Like that. It takes two seconds. Is it gone so fast that you wonder if it was fading long before that. If you knew that it was hopeless so you gave up early in the game and then when it was actually gone it was really no suprise...
